The plate and frame filter press is the oldmodel filter press, the filter plate is separated, there will be filter plateand filter frame, there is the plate and frame filter press diaphragm for working,there filter frame and filter plate, between the filter plate and frame thereis filter press cloth,the filter press other parts such as filter presshydraulic system, filter press frame etc. are the same as the recessed platefilter press.
The plate andframe filter press working: the filter plate and filter frame will be put onthe filter
press frame alternatively,the filter press cloth will be covered at both sides of the filter plate, all
thefilter press frame, filter plate and filter cloth will be closed by the filterpress hydraulic system, there will be chambers between filter plate and frame,on the filter plate and frame there will be holes to be filtrate channel, whenfeeding pressure reaches at0.2-0.4Mpa,all the slurry will come into thechambers from the channels, filtrate will released from the filter cloth, holesand channels from the filter press, this is the filter press dewateringoperation. Normally if sludge resistivityis5X1011 to 8X1012m/kg, then no needto do pretreatment of the sludge, just filtering directly. Normally the plateand frame filter press filter cake output capacity and filter cake moisturecontent during design will follow Leo Filter Press plate and frame filter pressexperiment.
